Dyslexia is surprisingly common. It affects more than 2 million people in the UK. It is closely related to other specific learning difficulties including Dyspraxia and ADHD.
Dyslexia affects people in many different ways. For me and many others it is not just about difficulties with reading, writing and spelling. If you are dyslexic it is part of who you are. It affects how you learn and can have an impact on your whole life including work, study and social life. Appropriate support and coaching can help dyslexic people overcome barriers and reach their potential and view dyslexia as a gift or positive attribute rather than a learning difficulty.
People can be diagnosed with dyslexia at different stages of life. Many people suffer from problems caused by dyslexia or other similar learning difficulties and do not get diagnosed or receive appropriate help and support. I work with anybody from all ages and backgrounds, offering you support and individual coaching to discover how you learn best.
I have many dyslexic friends I have never met 2 dyslexic people who have exactly the same talents and abilities, learn in the same way and experience the same problems. Everyone is individual. If you can find out how you learn best and find your own solutions to any difficulties you may have, you can achieve what you want to achieve. This is where I can help as a coach.
