Dyslexia Support & Mentoring
Being dyslexic myself, I understand the frustrations involved. I can offer specific coaching and support to help dyslexic children and adults. My mentoring and coaching goes beyond reading and writing, using experiential learning to help you maximise your learning potential to gain confidence and discover how you learn best as an individual.
Specific areas where my dyslexia support can help include:

The key to my approach as a coach and mentor is building a positive relationship with you, and allowing you to discover your own solutions to your problems. This is based on active listening and a person-centred approach, which encompasses a lot of counselling techniques.
I also use Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), which offers a variety of tools and techniques to help understand the unconscious mind and help people learn quicker and more effectively. The NLP techniques I use focus on creating positive changes in your mind, accessing audio, visual and kinaesthetic resources. This enables me to help you discover how you learn best, apply that in order to change the way you think, feel and behave. The different techniques help ensure that you have the motivation and commitment to change the way you act, think and feel, to reach your goals and consequently feel more content in life.
